Kelly Ashton, is a teacher at Daleville Jr/Sr High School in Daleville Indiana. He is a graduate of Ball State University with a Bachelor Degree, and is licensed to teach 7th and 8th grade Science and Social Studies.  He is married, and his wife's name is Kathy.  She is not a class of 1979 Frankton Alumni.

Kevin K. Couch Sr., 40, FRANKTON - ,Kevin K Couch, Sr., 40, of Frankton died Aug. 30, 2001, at his home.   Kevin was the son of Charles and the late Sharon (O'Brien) Couch of Frankton.  He attended Frankton High School, served in the U.S. Army as a military policeman at Fort Bliss, El Paso, Texas.  He was employed at the R & L Transfer of Alexandria.  He was a member of the Sons of American Legion for 10 years.  Kevin loved the game of golf and never turned down a game of softball.  He also loved to participate in pool tournaments and euchre tournaments.   Survivors include his father, Chuck Couch of Frankton; daughter, Tawny Couch of Grand Blanc, Mich.; two sons, Cody Couch and Kristofer Couch of Elwood; brothers, Omery Jay Couch and Timothy Couch, all of Frankton; sister, Tina Dowler of Elwood; brother Mike O'Brien of Hawthorn, Fla.; special friend, Marsha Sharp of Frankton; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his mother and a son, Kevin K. Couch Jr.  Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Harper and Dunnichay Funeral Home with the Rev. Christina Dougherty of Madison Christian Church in Frankton officiating.  Burial will be in the K 0f P - IOOF Cemetery in Frankton.

Remember me with laughs and smiles, for that's how I will remember you all.
If you can only remember me with tears, then don't remember me at all.
I've only gone to rest a little while, so dry your eyes and remember me,
not as I am now, but as I used to be.

John R. Fleener, lives in Goshen Indiana. and has for the past 21 years. He is happily married to Sherri L. Fleener (Nichols) of Elwood Indiana. They have 3 girls; Amanda Lynn, age 15, Samantha Kay age 14, Olivia May age 9. he worked at Gunite Corp. for 15 years and currently he's driving a truck over all of the Midwest. He also pulls the Goshen high school band trailer. (Side note 10/3/2004; The band is in competition on weekends at this time, on October 2nd they won a div rating to go on to regional finals at Carmel on October 16th.)

Kelly Mahoney, lives between Upland and Marion Indiana near Eastbrook High School.  He moved to the Upland area around 1982, ask anyone in town who he is, they all know him!  He married Rhonda Brummett, a resident of Upland, and alumni of Eastbrook.  His computer is currently on the fritz, but will contact with an email address when he acquires access to the internet again.

Timothy V. Norman, 43, NEW CASTLE - Timothy V. Norman, age 43, of New Castle died unexpectedly Thursday, April 29, 2004 at his residence. He was born February 5, 1961 in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, a son of Winford and Ginger (Hyden) Norman. He was currently enrolled at Ball State University and was a car enthusiast. He enjoyed spending time with his family and two nephews. Survivors include his parents: Winford and Ginger Norman of Anderson; paternal grandmother: Hazel Floyd of New Castle; a brother: Tod Norman of Detroit, Michigan; two nephews: Tyler and Trent Norman; his former wife: Debbie Norman of Noblesville; and several aunts, uncles & cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother: Melva Hyden Lancaster and his maternal grandfather: Allen Hyden. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 3, 2004 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to The National Pancreas Foundation, P.O. Box 15333, Boston, MA 02215, with envelopes available at the funeral home.

Scot W. Overdorf, JD, CPA, is a nationally recognized speaker in the areas of estate planning and retirement plans. For over a decade Mr. Overdorf has taught innumerable attorneys, accountants, insurance agents, and financial advisors across the country. He has written numerous articles and is coeditor of Ways and Means: Maximizing Your Retirement Plans (Esperti Peterson Institute, 1998). He is a founder of the National Network of Estate Planning Attorneys and its former director of education. As director of education, Mr. Overdorf was responsible for the creation and implementation of training courses for estate planning attorneys. He is a fellow of the Esperti Peterson Institute Masters Fellowship Program. He is also the founder, president, and CEO of TrustIt, LLC, a consulting and coaching organization providing paperless solutions for small business owners. He also maintains his own law firm and has concentrated in estate planning for over 15 years. He graduated cum laude from Indiana University School of Law, at Indianapolis, and graduated summa cum laude from Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana, with a bachelor of science degree in accounting. A certified public accountant and a licensed life and health insurance agent (inactive status), Mr. Overdorf is past treasurer and director of New Paradigm Christian Church and resides in Indianapolis, Indiana, with his wife, Tanya, and his two children, Victoria and Allison.

Bruce Pritchett, (Direct Quote from email) "I live in Lapel with my wife, Ruth (21 years), and our three kids (ages 10-15). We are very active with the kids sports and with our local church. I work in Indy where I am VP of Consulting Services for Healthx, Inc.  For a hobby, I fly powered parachutes and am also a certified instructor to teach others to fly them. Frankton looks even smaller from the air than it does on the ground!"

Claude Stephens, 32, Anderson, died Saturday May 7 at his residence following an extended illness.  He was born June 24, 1961 at Fort Benning Ga., and was raised in Anderson and moved back to Anderson in July 1993, after retiring from the U.S. Army with 10 years of service.  He received special training in military intelligence and served in the Gulf War.   He retired with the rank of sergeant.  He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Gina R. (Turney) Stephens; two sons, Sean A.M. Stephens and Matthew F. E. Stephens, both at home; his father, Bobby E. Stephens of Columbus, Ga.; his mother Elisabeth A. (Cheron) Ryan; two sisters, Sandra D. Hennis of Anderson and Pamela A. Davis of Elwood; maternal grandparents, Yvette and Emile Cheron of France; step-grandmother, Ione Ryan of Matthews, Ind.; several aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his brother Michael James Stephens in 1963.  Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Robert D. Loose Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Tom Chapman officiating.  Burial will be in Grovelawn Cemetery in Pendleton.

Lori L. (Strangeway) Morris, is a 5th grade teacher at Frankton Elementary School in Frankton, Indiana.  She attended Ball State University where she attained a Bachelors Degree.  She also has a Masters Degree from Anderson University.  She currently lives in Elwood Indiana and keeps in touch in various ways with many of our former classmates.

Jennifer (Tisdale) Husby, has 3 children, Britony, Jon and Morgan and would love to tell you all about them in her own words.  She requests that you email her any time.

Julie K. (Wheat) Wisner, 25, Rt. 2, Noblesville, died today at Riverview Hospital after being stricken ill suddenly.  She was a lifelong resident of Madison County.  She was a member of th Church of the Brethern and a graduate of Frankton High School and the John Casablanca Modeling School of Indianapolis.  She is survived by her husband, Michael R. Wisner; her parents, William and Mary (Hildenbrand) Wheat of Anderson; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs Claude Hildenbrand, Carlisle; a son, Christopher M. Wisner, at home; a sister, Kimberly A. Wheat of Anderson; a brother William M. Wheat of Pendleton; a niece and nephew.  Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Rozell-Johnson Funeral Service with the Rev. John Bunch officiating.  Burial will be at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
